El Paso residents (No commercial business / contractors) can take trash, household hazardous waste, and bulky items to one of five public drop-off locations, known as Citizen Collection Stations, within the city. Trash is collected at the Citizen Collection Stations and then taken to the Greater El Paso Landfill for disposal. The Citizen Collection Stations also function as additional drop-off sites for recyclables, to complement the city's curbside recycling program.

Note: The maximum amount of paint and motor oil permitted is 5 gallons per month.
A maximum of four visits per month is allowed.
Trailers longer than 8 feet long are not permitted.
Everyone, including active-duty military personnel and veterans, must present a current water bill along with an ID that matches the address on the bill to gain entry to ESD CCS.
